Ultimately it’s up to you as the owner/seller. Most of our clients choose to offer a buyer agent commission of 1% – 2.5%. The majority of qualified buyers are working with a Realtor to find their home. Therefore, the majority of sellers choose to offer a commission to buyer agents. In this market, we recommend offering at least 1.5% – 2% to buyer agents.
In our opinion Homie falls under more of a limited service brokerage. In other words they leave a lot of the “to-do” up to you. At HoneyHomb we charge quite a lot less than Homie, while providing a service on-par with the best full-service Realtors in the business. In summary, we do more of the work so that you don’t have to!
We offer the same general services as a very good Realtor. We utilize the same websites, the same MLS, the same Utah standard legal forms, and have more experience than the majority of agents in the business today. Our most experienced agent has over 19 years of experience and has closed hundreds of transactions. We know what we are doing at HoneyHomb!
